Abstract
Pileus mexicanus is an arboreous plant about eight meters high, belonging to the family of the Caricaceae; it grows wild in different states of Mexico (Morelos, Guerrero, Colima, Campeche y Yucatan), and is commonly known as "cuaguayote." From fruits and
